Onochie releases names of 21 companies commissioned under Buhari’s government

- The presidency is celebrating Muhammadu Buhari's achievements in the last two years since he took office

- Among the president's achievements are 21 companies commissioned under his government

The presidency has released some 21 companies and factories so far commissioned under the government of Muhammadu Buhari since 2015.

The list was released by Lauretta Onochie, the personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media.

Onochie also mentioned the states where these companies and factories are located across the country just as she promised that there are many more to come for Nigerians.

Some of the companies include a shoe factory of Lee Group located in Jigawa, the Coscharis Rice Mill in Anambra, 40,000 litres of socium hypochlorite plant in Kaduna, a smartphone assembly plant owned by AfriOne in Lagos.

Others include the two million metric tonnes BUA cement factory located in Edo, a fertilizer factory in Auchi, the Obu cement factory in Okpella, Edo state as well as the Fullmark Rice Mill in Kano.

NAIJ.com earlier reported how President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Kano state on a two day working visit recently.

The president left the Aso Rock Villa Abuja in a helicopter in the morning of Wednesday, December 6, accompanied by top officials of his government.

The presidency also confirmed that he arrived the state where he is expected to commission some projects built by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The list however does not contain the rice mill that was recently commissioned in Kebbi state.

The Wacot Rice Mill in Argungu was commissioned by Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, who the factory had highlighted the policy of the government to use the private sector as the engine-room of development.
