Aisha Buhari's NGO, “Aisha Buhari Foundation’’, built the children and maternity clinic to cater for the health needs of under-privileged families in the country, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
NAIJ.com gathered that the aircraft conveying the wife of the president and her entourage landed at the Katsina International Airport at about 10 am.
She was accompanied by the wife of the Senate president, Toyin Saraki, minister of state for Health, Dr Osagie Ehenire, and the senior special assistant to the president (Administration), Dr Hajo Sani.
Others are the senior special assistant to the president on foreign affairs and diaspora matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the former deputy governor of Plateau, Pauline Tallen, and wife of Benue governor, Eunice Ortom, among others.
During the visit, the first lady will inaugurate and hand over the maternity clinic to the Katsina state government.

This is as part of her contributions to the health and physical well being of women and children in the state.

She called for the probe of Aso Rock clinic over what she described as the inefficiency of the management of the clinic.
The first lady made this disclosure on Monday, October 9, while speaking at a stakeholders meeting on Reproductive, Maternal, Nutrition, Child Advocacy and Health and Nutrition, RMNCAH+N, at the State House, Abuja.
