Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, December 13, presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, held at the Council Chamber, State House, Abuja.

NAIJ.com gathered that Osinbajo is representing President Muhammadu Buhari who is presently in Paris for the One Planet Summit taking place in France.

President Buhari who left for Paris from the Kano International Airport on Monday, December 11, will be joining over 50 world leaders for the summit.

Earlier, NAIJ.com reported that, President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, December 12, in Paris appealed to the international community to support Nigeria’s commitment to reducing the negative effects of climate change.

The president’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement in Abuja said Buhari made the appeal in a submission to the "One Planet" summit in Paris, France.

The summit with the theme "Climate Change Financing", was being attended by over 60 heads of state and governments, as well as representatives of non-governmental and private organisations.
