The federal government of Nigeria has released pictures of road construction currently ongoing in Bayelsa state.
The road which will be dualized and modernized will pass through the village of Nigeria's former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
Top aide to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmed made this known on Facebook on Wednesday, December 12.
He wrote: "Federal Ministry of Works, Power and Housing has since mobilized contractors at the Yenegwe Road Junction-Kolo-Otueke-Bayelsa Palm (20km) in Bayelsa State.
"The road will be dualized and modernized and it’s passing through Otueke town."
President Muhammadu Buhari will have to bring his cabinet to any state in the Niger Delta for the next Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, Queen Zainab-Duke Abiola of Akasoba in Kalabari Kingdom has said.
The female traditional ruler said such weekly meeting held in any state in the region would afford the president the opportunity to understand the challenges facing the area.

She also insisted that the president would win in Otuoke if he contest in the 2019 elections. Queen Abiola said apart from the meeting, President Buhari should spend some days in the region to listen to the complaints of the people.
NAIJ.com reports that the monarch urged Buhari to dismiss the fear that he could be attacked.
She pleaded with Buhari to directly engage the people in a town hall meeting as the only way to appease them and ensure lasting peace in the area that has faced challenges from agitators.
