Breaking: Halti Bello, overall commander of kidnappers in Kogi state captured with 20 gang members

Halti Bello, a kidnap kingpin who is the overall commander of kidnappers in Kogi state has been captured through a joint operation by the personnel of IRT and Kogi state police command.

Abba Kyari, the police officer who was instrumental in the arrest of the notorious billionaire kidnapper, Evans, made this known on Facebook.

The criminals who are said to be responsible for the recent kidnap and murder of a Portuguese expatriate are responsible for for the kidnappings and killings in Okene-Lokoja Road, Okene-Kabba Road and Ajaokuta Axis Of Kogi state.

"In Lokoja Kogi State today were Deadly Kidnappers including the Overall Commander Of Kidnappers in Kogi State Halti Bello and 20 of his Gang-members Terrorizing Okene-Lokoja Road, Okene-kabba Road and Ajaokuta Axis Of Kogi state and responsible for the recent kidnapping and murder of a Portuguese expatriate and many innocent Nigerians in Kogi and Edo states were arrested jointly by IRT and Kogi state police command personnel."

Force Public Relation Officer FPRO CSP Jimoh Moshood Paraded the Kidnappers before the Press in Lokoja today."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that some unknown gunmen attacked Al-Amin petrol station in Pandogari community in Rafi Local Government area of Niger state, abducted the station manager, identified as Malam Muazzam and three others.

Legit.ng gathered that the fleeing bandits who attacked the petrol station on their operational motorbikes between 8:30 to 9pm on the fateful night also killed three persons on their trail, residents stated.
