Emmanuel said: "When you shortchange members of a party in a process that is supposed to allow them to serve the party in the NWC, you have contravened the constitution of Nigeria and that of the party and the electoral act.
"The truth of the matter is that, that list should not stand, there must be a joggling, that list must be harmonised and tinkered with.
"When you call a list, unity, it means that everybody is in agreement. So for that to happen, we must make it a real unity list.
"And until that is done, there cannot be any reconciliation. It is at the point where people who have committed fraud say, yes, what we have done is wrong, we are ready for restitution that we can now move a step further and begin to say we have reconciled and everything has been done well.
"The list have been tinkered with and everybody is together, let us now forget and forgive; that is reconciliation."

Abiru said Atiku’s defection could not stop President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election in 2019.
The lawmaker also noted that the former vice president also contributed to the problems currently plaguing Nigeria.
