Manchester United have extend the contracts of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and Daley Blind until the end of next season.
The players would have become free agents this summer but their immediate futures have been secured with a view to bolster their transfer values.
All three players had clauses in their contract that could have seen the club extend their deals by a further 12 months to June 2019.
The Telegraph reports that the players are understood to have received letters confirming the extensions.
With their contracts now extended, manager Jose Mourinho has time to decide what he wants to do with the players.
