- PSG star Edison Cavani could be used in a swap deal for Cristiano Ronaldo
- Neymar and Cavani have not been best of friends since the former's move to France
- Madrid president Florentino Perez is reluctant to bow to Ronaldo's wage demands
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to break-up their already formidable front line of Neymar, Edison Cavani and Kylian Mbappe in their bid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
According to El Confidencial, the French side are willing to include Edinson Cavani in the deal.
Ronaldo will be the focal point of attack with Mbappe and Neymar flanking him in what will be a truly world class and defense tearing attack.
Florentino Perez is reluctant to bow to Ronaldo's wage demands and is considering offloading the 32-year-old.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi would jump at the chance to bring Ronaldo to Paris, while Los Blancos plan to replace Karim Benzema, despite Zinedine Zidane's affection for his compatriot.
Cavani has not had a very good relationship with Neymar since the Brazilian arrival from Barcelona for £200m and that would make a move to Madrid attractive.
The Uruguayan has been on fire this season, scoring 25 goals in all competitions, though the lure of Ronaldo may prove enough for PSG to sacrifice the 30-year-old.
