Premier League side Arsenal have been sent out of the 2018 English FA Cup by Lower League side Nottingham Forest who defeated the Gunners 4-2 in the third round.
Arsenal who are the FA Cup holders have now failed to defend the title they won last season after losing to more determined side Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest scored their first goal in the 20th minute through defender Eric Lichaj who gained from Arsenal's defensive gaffe.
Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker restored parity for the Gunners in the 23rd minute after being set up by Nigerian striker Alex Iwobi.
But Eric Lichaj scored again for the hosts in the 44th minute as both sides went into the break with Nottingham Forest leading.
Arsenal came out with different style of play in the second half, but Nottingham Forest took the lead again in the 64th minute via a penalty through Ben Brereton.
Danny Welbeck pulled one back in the 79th minute, and many Arsenal fans were thinking that their team would come back in to the game before the referee gave Nottingham Forest another penalty scored by Kieran Dowell.
Nottingham Forest won the match 4-2 as Arsenal crashed out of the 2018 FA Cup.
