A 50-year-old man identified Mohammed Ssemanda who went viral a month ago for marrying three women at on the same day is in the news once again. He has revealed the reason why he made the decision to marry three women.

The man from Uganda expressed that he made the decision to marry three women at once because he couldn’t afford to finance three separate weddings. He noted that his three wives know he is not doing well financially.

He further stated that his wives agreed to marry him at once because they love him. The 50-year-old who is a food vendor revealed that his wives are not jealous of each other, adding that they support him.

Ssemanda said: “My wives are not jealous against each other. Good enough, each has got a home and I promise to work harder and support them.”

It was gathered that his 48-year-old bride Salmat Naluwugge had already been living with him for 20 years and they have five children. 24-year-old Mastulah and 27-year-old Jameo Nakayiza are his other wives.

The three wives were said to be overjoyed during the ceremony and seemed to enjoy all the attention. It was also gathered that the younger wives are sisters and they also have children of their own.

According to Uganda Vision, Salmat Naluwugge said: “I thank our husband for marrying us all at once it is a sign that he will not discriminate or take sides with any of us.”
