The frenzy atmosphere around Barcelona new £145m signing Philippe Coutinho is far from settling as the Brazilian met new teammates and posed for a selfie with them.
The 25-year-old joined the Barcelona in a £145m move from Liverpool over the weekend, ending a long battle of transfer negotiation.
Barca star striker, Luis Suarez, took to his Twitter to welcome his new teammate alongside posting a selfie of himself with Coutinho. He captioned the selfie "WELCOME my friend @Phil_Coutinho how nice is to share team with you again. Lots of success in this new stage, we will achieve them all together!"
Coutinho while speaking about his not too new teammate Luis Suarez said: "(Suarez and I) almost won the Premier League together at Liverpool [in 2014], it was a great time. We are good friends and he wrote me a lot of messages telling me about the city and the club. It just made me want to come here even more.
"He (Suarez) saw that a house next to his became available. He didn't know I was coming for certain, but he liked the idea. It is a kind gesture. We've seen the pictures, it looks amazing. We are in touch all the time and I know Luis will help us to feel at home.'"
Coutinho has expressed his happiness at joining the Camp Nou outfit, admitting that it is his dream come true.
Coutinho is yet to know the squad number he will wear in Barca with his traditional number 10 a no go area as Lionel Messi currently occupies that number.
There are suggestions he could be given the No 14 previously worn by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
He also took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to the Liverpool fans, He wrote: "I leave Liverpool because Barcelona is a dream for me,'"

"Liverpool was a dream that I was fortunate enough to realise and I have given five years of my life to it.
'A career on the pitch only lasts for so long and to play for Barcelona as well as Liverpool is something I want to experience and enjoy while I am blessed enough to be able to do so.
'I hope the supporters understand that choosing to experience something new is not about diminishing their importance to me or the club's importance.
'Nothing will ever diminish that in my heart."
NAIJ.com previously reported that Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been reported to have paid the sum of £11.5 million out of his own money before sealing a dream move to Spanish club Barcelona.
Coutinho was so desperate to leave Liverpool for a move to Barcelona, and his desire has been accomplished after completing £145m move to the Catalan giants.
The Times claim that the Brazilian dished out an initial £9 million out of his own pocket and has committed to paying an extra £2.5m in the future.
