Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, has won the Premier League 'player of the month' award for the month of December.
The 24-year-old beat Manchester City trio of Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus, Chelsea's Marcus Alonso, Manchester United attacker Jesse Linguard.
Tottenham Hotspur have taken their time to congratulate their star-man for his award via a post on their official Twitter account.
AFC Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe's stunning hooked effort against Crystal Palace has won the Carling Goal of the Month for December.
The 35-year-old looped a ball over Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni from an acute angle to give his side a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park.
"It was instinctive and to be honest I don't know why I shot from there," he said. "I had a little glimpse of the goalkeeper just out of position and I wanted to direct it back across goal.

"Sometimes you try things and they come off. I was surprised myself. It's up there as one of my best goals."
Pep Guardiola has made history with a fourth Barclays Manager of the Month award in a row.
