- Arda Turan jons Istanbul Basaksehir on two year loan
- He leaves just after the arrival of Coutinho from Liverpool
- Turan joined the club from Atletico Madrid in 2015
Barcelona have announced that they have loaned midfielder Arda Turan to Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir FK for the remainder of his contract.
Turan has two-and-a-half years left on his Barca deal, but will see it out in Istanbul.
However the terms of his sale makes it possible for Barcelona to sell Turan during that period if anybody makes an offer for him.
A Barca club statement read: "FC Barcelona and Istanbul Basaksehir FK agree on a loan deal for the Turkish player for the remainder of the season and two more.
"The Turkish International leaves the Club after two and a half seasons in which he has won everything there is to win domestically with the blaugranes."
Turan made just 55 appearances for Barça in two-and-a-half years, scoring 15 goals.
He arrived in 2015 from Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid with Luis Enrique's specifically asking for the midfielder.
He was arguably the Rojiblancos' best and most influential player at the time of his departure.
