He urged members of the APC and IYM to participate in the ongoing voter registration, adding that that was the avnue through which the PDP could be voted out in Rivers state.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party has said President Muhammadu Buhari will face imminent electoral defeat in the presidential election come 2019.

The PDP made the statement in reaction to a report that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state and six other governors from the northern part of the country under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday, January 12, declared that they wanted President Muhammadu Buhari to get a second term.

The opposition party said El-Rufai and his counterparts were afraid of losing their jobs in 2019 and thus resorted to the visit.
