Liverpool have put themselves in the frame to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal this month, reports from England say.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already admitted the Chile international is most likely to leave the club before the end of the January transfer window.
The Emirates stadium outfit are willing to sell the player as far as a club matches their £35 million valuation.
Both Manchester City and Manchester United have expressed their interest in signing the 29-year-old before the end of the transfer window.
It is understoond that Sanchez has offers from Manchester United and Manchester City but the Sunday Mirror reports Jurgen Klopp is also targeting a move for Sanchez.
The report claims that Klopp and Liverpool’s owners Fenway Sports Group are in discussions about a deal for Sanchez this month.
