The police command in Kano state on Monday, January 15, questioned Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s commissioner for special duties Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas over a video clip that purportedly incited people against a sitting senator, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Vanguard reports that the encounter with the police by Abbas came on the heels of the arrest of his two children and a house maid over a free-for-all between Ganduje and Kwankwaso supporters on Sunday, January 16.
Briefing reporters on the political tension in the state, and the steps to address it, the police image-maker in Kano DSP Magaji Majia said the invitation of the commissioner was sequel to a petition submitted by a private lawyer.
