Simi reacts to Dorcas Fapson's alleged kidnap case

- Following the brouhaha of the Dorcas Fapson alleged kidnap story perpetuated by a taxi driver, several celebrities are throwing in their support

- Many social media users have accused the upcoming actress of lying, while some Nigerian celebrities have cursed those who doubt her side of the story

- Just recently Singer Simi joined the band wagon and got dragged by angry fans for her language and unsolicited opinion

Legit.ng earlier reported how upcoming actress Dorcas Shola Fapson known as DSF claimed she was allegedly almost abused and kidnapped by a taxi driver named Henry Nnaemeka. The driver came forward to share his side of the story and social media users were forced to pick sides.

While many believed the taxi driver's side of the story, accusing DSF of either exaggerating the story or blatantly lying, some Nigerian celebrities threw in their support, even cursing those who didn't believe the actress' side of the story.

Singer Adekunle Gold came out calling Nigerians who doubted Dorcas' side of the story, animals. Media personality, Eku Edewor also showed support, stating she believed Fapson.

In what looks like a celebrity against fans drama, singer Simi also chipped in hers but took it a notch to far according to Nigerian social media users when she referred to those who didn't believe Fapson as "full of sh*t."

In her post which she later deleted following the verbal attack from Nigerians, Simi said: "I don't know what kind of bullsh8t mentality will cause someone to watch those videos and decide to talk trash about Dorcas. I don't give a sh*t about the details that you have a problem with. U're full of sh*t. Especially if u're a chic and decided to bash her. U're full of sh*t."

Nigerians were however quick to screen munch her tweet and remind the singer that her opinion which they classified unsolicited was wrong and that cursing out people for what they believe was wrong too.

In a bid to save by then, her minor dented Twitter image based on Nigerians harsh responses, Simi tried explaining her stance. She said: "I’m not asking anyone not to believe what they want - but nobody was there but the 2 of them. If someone is in trouble, this will only drive them to keep it to themselves. Don’t drag anybody for filth, cos u were not there. It is wrong. Even if don’t want to hear it, it is wrong!"

The singer went further to express disappointment for being misunderstood. She said: "If you don't get it- Then it's sad."
