After much hype and suspense, popular reality show Big Brother Naija finally kicked off on January 28, 2018. Tagged Double Wahala, the show’s organisers have also revealed the 20 hopeful housemates gunning for the prize money of N45million.
While many have already started commenting that they will miss the 2017 contestants many who have become quite popular, the sheer number of contestants in the 2018 house promises to make this year’s show quite interesting.
In the few hours the housemates were introduced to viewers, fans already began to notice that a number of them had what they termed fake accents and one particular housemate (Miracle) was already mired in controversy.
A model and pilot, Miracle had claimed to be single. But a photo going around shows him wearing what looks like a wedding band. Even Big Brother was not spared the criticisms of many.
His voice was the main cause of the questions with a large number of people recognising that all was not well with his voice. Perhaps Biggy himself has been changed. One fan even said the organisers have employed popular musician Davido as the new Big Brother because of the similarities in their voices.
Meet the 20 housemates below:
As the housemates were getting to know each other, Big Brother ‘struck.’ He announced that six of the housemates where to be immediately evicted. As the evictees made their way out of the house, little did they know that they were only been taken to another part of the house.
They were reunited with the rest of the housemates the next morning surprisingly.
