- Arsenal are close to agreeing a fee for forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
- They have moved closer to Borussia Dortmund's asking price of £60 million
- The striker's pending arrival means Arsenal will allow Olivier Giroud to leave
Arsenal are close to agreeing a sensational £60 million deal for Borussia Dortmund's Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang's imminent arrival means Arsenal will allow French striker Olivier Giroud to move to Chelsea should the Premier League Champions meet the 31-year-old's £35 million valuation.
While Arsenal's price is high, Giroud has the added bonus of being available for the Champions League and is already settled in London.
Dortmund did hold interest in Giroud also but are now considering Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi who also has interest from Sevilla and Roma.
