Premier League giants Arsenal have reportedly agreed a club record fee to sign Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from German club Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund have previously rejected Arsenal's two bids to sign the player, and it is believed that the Gunners went back with impressive deal.
The German club were said to be interested in cash plus Frenchman Olivier Giroud from Arsenal, but Giroud will not be moving to Germany as he prefers a transfer to Chelsea.
Aubameyang, 28, will sign a £180,000-a-week contract to join Arsenal with the deal now nearing completion before Wednesday's deadline according to Mirror.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eager to complete the move for Borussia Dortmund's center forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners are desperate for a move for the Gabonese international and have increased their bid to £50.9 million.
Wenger who recently lost his star player Alexis Sanchez wants to beef up the front-line and he sees the former AC Milan player as an ideal target man.
