The opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has sent a condolence message to President Buhari over the passing on of his family members in the last couple of days.
The opposition party in a tweet on Monday, February 12, prayed to God to grant eternal repose to the souls of the faithful departed.

In a previous report by NAIJ.com, Senate president Bukola Saraki condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his family members in the last couple of days.
In a statement by Saraki's special adviser on media and publicity Yusuph Olaniyonu, the Senate president said losing a family member is a painful thing and he knows how the president feels.
He said: “My family and I share with Mr. President and his entire family this moment of grief. I urge Mr. President to be heartened and see the twin death as the will of Almighty Allah."
The Presidency on Saturday, February 10, said President Buhari’s extended family was bereaved with the deaths of two members in quick succession.
The senior special assistant to the President on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, announced this in a statement made available to journalists.
“President Muhammadu Buhari’s extended family has been struck by the loss of two senior members who died within a few hours of one another,” the presidential spokesman said.
