A young man named Abdul Salam, better known as Galaxy, was born and raised in Madina Zongo, a suburb of Accra. Coming from such reserved place was necessary for the painter who has managed to build a strong business in the art world.
Single and without children, the 27-year old 3D designer has established a thriving business in Ghana since the year 2015.
In 2017, he travelled to Rwanda, Zambia and South Africa for football trials. It however didn’t go as planned and he therefore had to return to focus full time on his business, as he believed it was due to the will of God.
At present, he specialised in 3D room painting and interior decoration. His art are usually focused on rooms, offices, salons, clubs and houses.
Salam believes it is the result of God’s gift to him, as he has achieved significant feats since he began his business.
According to him, even though he began his business without understudying anyone, five people have graduated with expert knowledge in the business; another five, were unable to complete the programme.
Salam revealed that the work is affordable, but labour-intensive. So far, he has travelled to Togo and Nigeria, in order to conduct business activities. In Ghana, Salam’s work has taken him to nine regions.
