Senator Sani's statement is coming less than a week after the governor of Kogi state, Yahya Bello said religious leaders complaining about President Muhammadu Buhari's administration are looters affected by the anti-corruption fight of the government.
Bello said this while reacting to statement reportedly made by Catholic Bishops while visiting President Buhari at the presidential villa on Thursday, February 8.
The religious leaders reportedly lamented the state of economy in Nigeria to the president.
Bello, while reacting to the statement said only looters are unhappy with the Buhari administration.
Meanwhile, a group, Concerned Indigenes of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, has vowed to work towards recalling Senator Shehu Sani accusing him of working for the opposition party.
Leadership reports that the group made this known on Monday, February 12, saying the senator has not done anything for the people he represents in three years that he has been at the National Assembly.
Aliyu Saidu who is the leader of the group claimed he worked towards the election of Sani in 2015 but said he deserves to be recalled for his alleged anti-party activities.
