Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) reconciliation and confidence building team, is currently meeting with the party's national chairman, John Odigie Oyegun and the National Working Committee (NWC).
NAIJ.com gathered that the meeting which started by 2 pm, is holding at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.
At the moment, the ruling party has been rocked with internal crisis in virtually all states where it has control.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that as part of on-going efforts to improve cohesion within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts in the party.
Tinubu's experience in politicking was expected to galvanise APC members across the nation to unite ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The assignment would involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the federation.
