Following the recent advice given to Nigeria's former presidents by the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, many Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the remarks.
While some of these Nigerians suggested that the APC leader is considering running for presidency in 2023.
Others also urged all Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters' card from the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enable them make wise decisions in the forthcoming elections.
The reactions by Nigerians followed remarks by Tinubu calling on past leaders to retire and stay away from Nigerian politics.

NAIJ.com also reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in reaction to Tinubu's advise urged President Muhammadu Buhari to heed to quit politics.
A statement by the party's national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, said Tinubu has weighed President Buhari and found him not fit to remain in office beyond 2019.
“In any case, the APC is already on a death throe, having led the worst government in the history of our nation and will end up as the first party in government at the centre that will be rejected by Nigerians at a second attempt," the party noted.
Also a coalition of university lecturers under the auspices of Intellectuals for Good Governance and Environmental Justice (IGG and EJ) has endorsed President Muhammad Buhari for re-election in 2019.
The forum, in a statement signed by its coordinator, Ali Bakari Mohammed, Executive Director, Nasidi Muhammad, and Legal Director, Ibrahim Audu, said Buhari deserved to be re-elected as president.
The lecturers said second tenure for President Buhari would enable him continue with the work he started in 2015.
