Arsonists set ablaze 4 houses belonging to politicians in Bauchi

- Two PDP chieftains in Bauchi state have lost their houses in arson attacks

- Arsonists set ablaze the houses belonging to the chieftains and properties worth millions were destroyed

- The victims were former PDP northeast publicity secretary, Sani Muhammad and Alhaji Sule Milo

Arsonists have set ablaze about four houses belonging to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains in various locations within Bauchi metropolis, Daily Post reports.

NAIJ.com gathered that former PDP northeast publicity secretary, Sani Muhammad, who was one of the victims, said that properties worth millions were lost.

He said the arsonists set his house ablaze at 11:30 pm on Friday, February 9, adding that they took to their heels when hundreds of youths in the area rushed to the scene.

It was learnt that another victim is the former personal assistant to secretary to the state government during the Yuguda administration, Alhaji Sule Milo.

His house at Salmanu quarters was also razed down by the arsonists.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Dr Chidi Lloyd, a former lawmaker in Rivers state lost properties worth millions following an attack on his house by hoodlums in Akpabu community, Emohua local government area of the state.

According to a report, the attack on Lloyd’s house came barely 24 hours he suffered a heavy setback as an appeal court upheld the election of Sam Ogeh, his opponent in the March 19, 2016 Rivers state House of Assembly rerun election.

Lloyd, a former leader of the State House of Assembly, contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, while Ogeh vied for the election on the platform of the PDP.
