A coalition of Buhari support groups, mainly young men and women, is gathering for a one million march towards the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
ChannelsTV reports that the groups are insisting that President Muhammadu Buhari should make a public statement, declaring his intention to run in 2019 by Monday, February 19, or they will go to court on Tuesday, February 20, to compel him to do so.
NAIJ.com previously reported that another pro-Buhari group tagged Buhari Support Group Centre (BSGC), through its director general, Alhaji Umaru Dembo, called on President Buhari to come forth and re-contest in the 2019 general elections.
The group, which supports the president, asked him not to heed ex-President Obasanjo’s call not to run for the presidency in 2019.
In another NAIJ.com report, a group under the aegis of Ndigbo for Buhari 2019, had allegedly started mobilisation moves for the re-election bid of President Buhari.
The group which membership is drawn across the southeast inaugurated its Abuja chapter on Sunday, November 26, 2017.
The group, however, warned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to be wary of the antecedents of the former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu.
