Viral photo of a young lady and her unusual ‘boyfriend’

A young lady has since gone viral on the internet for what appears to be the most hilarious Valentine photo yet.

While many people were having a good time with their loved ones on Valentine's Day, showing off their partners and sharing romantic gifts and gestures, others, however, celebrated the lover's day in quite a different way.

A young lady with the Twitter handle, @Adiiilaaa, has since gone viral on social media for flaunting her own 'boyfriend'. On February 13, she took to the Twitter platform to share a lovely photo of herself with what she called, her boyfriend.

Now, while this may sound like a regular lovey dovey type of thing, what made it hilarious is the fact that she wasn't standing with a love struck boyfriend, but a trash can. She was pictured in the photo wearing a blue tunic while the mesh trash can also had a shade of blue on it. Posting the photo, she wrote:"my boyfriend and i colour-coordinated our outfits today "

While several people had a good laugh over the photo, others went ahead to photo shop their own versions of the viral photo, one guy even 'shot his shot'. See post below:

The viral post was even featured on the popular Teen Vogue magazine. The 19-year-old lady was overwhelmed as she did not expect the tweet to go viral on the internet as the intent was purely based on humour for her circle of friends.
