Real Madrid plotting over £120m summer move for Manchester United's Paul Pogba

- Real Madrid are planning a summer move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the range of £120 million

- The Spanish League giants are hoping they can sign the Frenchman this time having failed in their bid in 2016

- Pogba, who seems unhappy with Jose Mourinho's tactics has a running contract with the Red Devils until 2021

La Liga giants Real Madrid are plotting over £120 million summer transfer move for Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba.

The 24-year-old Frenchman rejoined the Red Devils in the then world-record fee in the range of £89 million in 2016 in a five-year deal.

But the Champions League defending champions will be hoping they can land the midfielder this time having missed out from securing his signature while at Juventus few seasons back.

The Santiago Bernabeu outfit came from a goal down to beat Paris Saint Germain 3-1 in the first leg of their Uefa Champions League round of 16 clash in Spain on Wednesday, but are 4th on the La Liga table.

In view of their form in the domestic league, the Galacticos are looking to overhaul their already ageing squad with younger players and Pogba is their number one target.

The midfielder has a running contract with his Premier League club until 2021, and they may not be interested in selling the player who is a key member of coach Jose Mourinho’s team this summer.

But with a staggering offer of well over £120 million, the Old Trafford team might be considering to do business with the European football powerhouse.

Meanwhile, the player in question, Pogba, who has at times been caught unhappy this season will shape the direction of the deal at the end of the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman, who won two titles in his first season at United after quitting Juventus was subbed during United’s defeat at Tottenham late last month and dropped for the Huddersfield game earlier this month.

But Mourinho has publicly been supportive of his superstar — praising his professional attitude.

But despite sitting second in the league, big-spending United are 16 points behind neighbours Manchester City.

Pogba currently has no intention of leaving United. But that will not stop Real from trying to change his mind if things sour further for him before the season ends.
