Real Madrid have placed a £621million price tag on Marco Asensio after revealing they rejected a £133m offer from England last summer.
The Spanish prodigy who has been linked with Premier Legaue champions Chelsea, inspired Real's comeback win against Paris Saint Germain in the 3-1 Champions League win at the Bernabeu.
President Florentino Perez insists Real manager Zinedine Zidane regards the 22-year-old as a game-changer whose best is yet to come in the coming years.
Spanish website mundodeportivo report Perez as saying: "if someone wants the Mallorcan.. 700 million euros."
However, Perez has urged the 22-year-old to be patient and grow into becoming a world class playmaker with Los Blancos.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all want to strengthen their midfield next summer but Real's asking price for Asensio's will probably push them away.
Asensio's best chance of moving to the Premier League would probably be a swap deal involving Eden Hazard who would be Real Madrid's prime target next season.
Hazard has been the only consistent world-class performer for Chelsea this term with 12 league goals under his belt.
Asensio spent time on loan at former club Mallorca and Espanyol to develop as a teenager and a year later he got a professional contract with Real after an impressing beyond reasonable doubt.
