More details emerge about 2 ladies who married the same man in Akwa Ibom
Remember the viral news about an Abriba man who married two women the same day in Akwa Ibom state that got many people talking? A Facebook user has revealed why they wedded the same day.
According to the Facebook user identified as Chinenye Eberechi who narrated the incident which led to the marriage, the two ladies were friends, one had first married the man earlier before her husband had an affair with the other which resulted to pregnancy.
Seeing this, she moved into the matrimonial home of her friend which led to a huge fight and disagreement, leading to the first wife moving out of the house.

After the issue was resolved, their husband needed to be initiated into his age group and according to Abriba tradition it is expected that a man must marry his wife traditionally before he can belong to any age group.

"It's was a thing of surprise a man from my state broke the internet yesterday with his marriage to two ladies, the pictures speaks volume and raised wide controversial between Africans traditionalist and Christaindom people.
The information that got to me yesterday on the young man with two wives was just an after cohabition show in order to fulfill a tradition and to officially belong to Age grade of Ndi Abriba. Both women have been having marrital affairs with the man for long and they had children for him already, the ladies are not blood sisters, they were friends turn enemies now.
From gathered details the man married both women traditionally on Friday and Saturday respectively, on Sunday both decided to hire wedding gowns to do what could pass as white wedding/ceremony in their compound with a hired pastor who blessed their union.
Information has it the young man was cohabiting with one of the ladies and the other lady with round flower was a best friend to the girl and visits the family on regular basis. Along the line the Abiriba Ronaldo was attracted to her on the lovy lovy level, conner kicked wife's best friend and a goal was scored.
So the best friend had no choice but to move into the family house with the man, the first wife being angry with the situation had to leave the house to another place within the village.
The man is a business man who sells building materials at Abiriba market, he is industrious and owns a car he uses to run his small business.
According to information, no single thing was done on the head of those women before now as a result of that, traditional rites were denied to the man and the women in the village. So for the man to be recognized and formally initiated into the Age Grade System of Old Bende culture there must be an official marriage ritual/ceremony with his wives, that forced him to get married to both ladies in such a shameless show.
