- Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is under pressure in the club

- Wenger who has been in charge for 22 years is under pressure with talks of him being sacked at the end of season

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger will be having huge uncertainty over his future for the first time in his career as Gunners boss position as crisis talks are expected to be held at the end of the season.

Wenger who has been in charge for 22 years is under pressure with talks of him being sacked at the end of season.

A number of replacements have been reportedly lined up already should the former Nagoya Grampus gaffer fails to convince the board that he can take the club forward.

Mikel Arteta is believed to be the frontrunner, whilst Joachim Low, Brendan Rodgers, and Leonardo Jardim are also being considered.

It is believed that former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing up the Emirates job as well.

After the defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, major questions marks were raised over the performance and effort made by the Arsenal players.

Arsenal major shareholder Stan Kroenke's son, Josh, has taken a much more prominent role at the club in recent weeks.

He has been spotted more often at London Colney, Arsenal's training ground.

It has been reported that a major change was wanted last year but Kroenke Snr stood firmly by Wenger.

Four bosses have been lined up to take over if Wenger is sacked.

Monaco's Jardim caught the eye last year with his vibrant attacking side that pipped free-spending Paris St-Germain to the Ligue 1 title.

Rodgers at Celtic is another manager who is well thought of at the Emirates.

But former Gunners star Arteta is believed to be the No.1 target, who is currently Pep Guardiola's assistant at City.

With that in mind, Germany coach Low has been earmarked to arrive at the north London club, but will only give a decision after the World Cup this year.

The Gunners are currently sixth in the Premier League, trailing fourth-placed Tottenham by ten points.

Wenger signed a two-year extension last season and reports show that the 68-year-old will do everything he can to see it out but another defeat to City this week will have a huge sway over whether a decision will be made or not.
