- The Choge family prayed to be blessed with another child and received the miraculous news of not one, but three identical bouncing babies
- Research shows that identical triplets are rare with only 20 to 30 happening in every 1 million births
- The triplets were born 6 weeks premature and are still under observation awaiting clearance from their doctor
Kenyan couple Nicole and Caleb Choge were the recipients of marvelous news when they welcomed identical triplets on Thursday, February 23.
The couple based in the United States, were elated with joy following the news simply because they had prayed in patience to be blessed with another child, and their calls were answered in abundance.
"We prayed for another child. And then, I like to say, God answered everybody's prayer: one, two, and three," Choge told the Kansas City star during an interview.
The miracle triplets are all boys and were named Ron, Elkanah, and Abishai, though it may prove a tad bit tricky for their parents to know one from the other.
A report made by Journal of Biosocial Science in 2003, found that identical triplets happen only 20 to 30 times per one million births, a rare spectacle on any occasion.
Choge who worked as a pilot in Kenya, moved with his family to Kansas from Kenya in search of greener pastures.
It was gathered that the triplets were born six weeks premature, and are currently under observation awaiting a clean bill of health from their doctor.
