Last Saturday the famous Indian film actress died of a heart attack in Dubai, where she came to the wedding of her nephew. The cinema legend drowned in the bath. Alcohol was found in the woman's blood. It is noted that the actress lost consciousness and then choked. Sridevi age was 54 years.

The funeral of the actress Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, known as Sridevi Kapoor, was held in Mumbai. Tens of thousands of fans came to say the last farewell. Because of them, the authorities had to block the streets. Also, a lot of celebrities in Indian cinema were present at this sad event.

The body of the actress was taken from Dubai by a private jet of Indian businessman Anil Ambani.

Private life

Sridevi was born on August 13, 1963, in Sivakasi, Madras State, India. Her native language is Tamil. Her father died when she starred in the movie Lamhe. The mother passed when Sridevi worked in the film Judaai. She has a sister and two half-brothers from the previous marriage of her father. Her cousins are also actors.

Sridevi was famous for her beauty. Until the last days of life, this lady was charming, attractive and had many admirers. In youth, she often received offers from men. But the actress gave her heart to the film producer Boney Kapoor. The marriage was concluded on 2 June 1996. The couple had two daughters born in 1997 and 2000.

Career

This lady started acting from 4 years. Sridevi left the industry in 1997 to devote her time to her family but in 1999 returned and acted films for 12 more years.

Sridevi recalled:

"Once, on a fateful day, strangers came to us and invited me to appear in the film. My father was angry and drove them out. But they came again the next day and persuaded my mother to force dad to change his mind. My mother had big ambitions on my account. And she achieved her goal. The next day I appeared on the set. My first movie was filmed in the temple. I played the Lord Murugan. Just before shooting, the director began to insist that I should shave my head. Mother refused: "My child should go to school!" she sobbed. There were long discussions. Then I was invited to wear a wig. It looked funny. Nevertheless, I sincerely enjoyed everything in the movie atmosphere."

Sridevi started her childhood career in the Tamil film Kandhan Karunai. By early adolescence, she has already played in many films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Many of her movies of those years were directed by I.V. Sasi, one of the leading film directors in Malayalam.

In 1976, she received her first major role in the film Moondru Mudichu with Kamal Hasan and Rajnikant. Subsequently, Sridevi appeared in several other films with the same actors.
