Modric's experience, technical quality and winning mentality could not be what embattled coach Arsene Wenger needs next season if the Frenchman remains manager at the Emirates.

The 32-year-old still plays a big role for Zinedine Zidane’s side with 30 appearances in all competitions this season as he continues his formidable partnership with Toni Kroos.

Modric has won three Champions Leagues titles in the last four years for Los Blancos coupled with a La Liga trophy last season and Copa del Rey cup.

If Real decides to do an overhaul in the team, Modric could be lined up for a potential exit at the club as he will be going off colour because of his age which be detrimental to Zidane's building process next season.
