Manchester United gaffer, Jose Mourinho, has warned his former club Real Madrid to stay clear off David De Gea insisting the goalkeeper will stay at Old Trafford.
The Spanish shot-stopper almost joined Madrid in 2015 and has continued to be linked with a move to Los Blancos amid uncertainty over the future of first choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Jose Mourinho while speaking to La Sexta ahead of United's Champions League second leg match against Sevilla at Old Trafford on Tuesday, said that Madrid should look at other options.
"I see him [De Gea] here," he said.
"I do not know Real Madrid's intentions but, if I were them, I would think of another player."
Madrid, came close to signing Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in January, have also been linked with Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois.
NAIJ.com previously reported that Real Madrid star attacker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has instructed Los Blancos chiefs to raid his former club Manchester United for their world-class goalkeeper David De Gea.
The Spanish number one has long been a target for Los Blancos and their first bid for him was been rejected by the Red Devils.
