Brazilian football legend Ronaldo Delima has reportedly told Paris-Saint-Germain forward Neymar not to think about rejoining Spanish club Barcelona.

But the 42-year-old retired football star wants his fellow countryman to make a move to Spanish champions Real Madrid.

Neymar left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain last year after his £200m release clause was activated.

But since Paris-Saint-Germain were sent out of the 2017/18 Champions League, there have been reports that the 26-year-old could leave France at the end of the season.

According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Ronaldo and Neymar are 'very close'.

And they reckon Ronaldo has told his compatriot: "Forget Barcelona and your friends at Barcelona because in Madrid you will be much happier."

Ronaldo is a legend in the La Liga as he left Barcelona for Inter Milan in 1997 before joining Real five years later.
