Father spotted severely lashing his 4-year-old son in front of nursery school teacher (video)

A disturbing video of a father in Uganda severely beating up his four-year-old son has gone viral on social media. The man was seen severely lashing the little boy as his female teacher and other students watched.

It was gathered that the incident had occurred at Marto Nursery School in Kamwokya, after a female teacher reported a boy who had lost his way while coming to school to his parent.

According to reports, the little boy who normally goes to school with his 6-year-old brother had found himself in a different school because his brother couldn’t take him. The 4-year-old got lost and ended up at Mulago School for the deaf.

The 4-year-old had reportedly been taken to the police station where he was taken round nursery schools in the area to determine where he was supposed to be.

After his school was found, the police had handed him over to a female teacher identified as Winfred Nakanjako who had reportedly beaten him before calling his parent.

In the video that went viral, the 4-year-old boy’s father was seen beating him severely in front of the teacher and other students. The teacher had claimed that she watched because there was nothing she could have done.

Twitter users were furious to see how the father reacted to the little boy's mistake. They expressed that the behaviour was an act of child abuse. Read comments below:
