Photos of rescued Dapchi schoolgirls emerge
Photos of some of the Dapchi schoolgirls released by the Boko Haram group following interventions by the federal government have emerged.
The schoolgirls were kidnapped from Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi On February 19, 2018.
The abducted girls were however brought back in nine vehicles and dropped outside the school at about 8am by the insurgent on Wednesday, March 21.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian presidency, on Wednesday, March 21, confirmed it is aware of the release of the students of Government Girls’ Science and Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe state, by their alleged abductors, the Boko Haram terrorists.
It also said no negotiations or ransoms were paid for the release of the girls as was being reported by some media.
Garba Shehu, one of the spokespersons to President Muhammadu Buhari, confirmed the latest information, but did not give many details.
Another spokesperson, Bashir Ahmed, posted on social media: “GREAT NEWS from Dapchi, Yobe State. Thank God for the safe return of our sisters. Alhamdulillah!
In a related report, some parents of the schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents from the Government Girls Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe state, have confirmed the release of the students.
Amharic M-grah, a father whose daughters were among the 110 abducted students, told The Cable that his children were brought back on Wednesday morning, March 21.
He said the students were brought back in nine vehicles and dropped outside the school at about 8am by the insurgents.
