Pretty wife of King of Swaziland kills herself after drug overdose (photos)

The King of Swaziland Mswati III is reportedly bereaved has one of his pretty wives killed herself after a drug overdose. Late Senteni Masango happens to be the eight wife of the monarch.

It was reported that the young lady was found lifeless on Friday morning, April 6. The deceased died few days after sister Nombuso’s final burial. Her sister’s funeral took place on Sunday, April 7, at her parent’s home.

Reports have it that Masango consumed about 40 capsules of Amytriptyline, a drug used to treat a number of mental illnesses as well as major depressive and lack of attention disorder. Until her death, she allegedly lived alone for over three years in a big mansion without a visit from the king.

Leaving behind two daughters, the royal family reportedly organized vigil for her on Monday, April 9, at the palace and would be laid to rest on Tuesday morning, April 10. This was done according to the tradition of the Swazi royal family.

The deceased was known for her excellent painting skills as she often auctioned some of her good works in order to raise funds for a local charity group in Swaziland.

Her last public appearance was at the recent Marula festival where she danced up a storm when it was time for members of the royal family to dance before the king and queen mother.
