Chelsea's Eden Hazard left unhappy after West Ham draw at Stamford Bridge

- Chelsea suffered yet another disappointment after playing a 1-1 draw against West Ham United over the weekend

- The Blues remain 5th on the table but this time, with 10 points behind Tottenham Hotspur who are 4th on the log

- Meanwhile, the Belgian forward is hoping they can win the rest of their EPL games to contend for a Champions League spot next season

Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has expressed unhappiness after his side were held to a 1-1 draw at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday, April 8.

Cesar Azpilicueta put the Blues ahead in the 36th minute, but Javier Hernandez’s 76th equalizer was enough to rescue a point for the Hammers at the end of the game.

Sunday’s result means Chelsea’s chances of playing Champions League football next season are gradually fading away as they are 10 points adrift of fourth place team Tottenham Hotspur with just six games to wrap this season off.

They are currently fifth on the Premier League table with Arsenal mounting pressure on them with just three points separating the two sides.

However, Hazard seems not to understand how they got to drop two points in a game that they had everything working for them except for their inability to bury their chances especially in the first half.

The EPL champions have won just three league matches since last December, but the Belgian forward believes they can make their remaining six games to the end of the season count in their favour.

He said: “When you see the game we did everything, especially in the first half.

“This season isn’t going well, we made some mistakes and conceded a goal. Then, in front of goal we didn’t score, so that’s it, at the end of the game it’s 1-1 and we are all sad.

“We need to work together. There are six games left to play in the league and we will try everything to be in the top four at the end of the season.”

The 27-year-old last scored for the blues in February, when he bagged a brace in their 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at the Bridge.

He further explained that they have always given their best in all of their games but the results have shown otherwise, especially in our game against Spurs.

“This season a lot of the games have been the same. I remember away at Manchester United, we were in control of the game and in the end we lost,” Hazard added.

“Last week against Tottenham, we were in control in the first half and then we lost the game, so this season isn’t going well. We need to work together.”

Hazard joined Chelsea from French Ligue 1 side, Lille in a €40 million deal, while his current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2020.

The Belgium international has only scored 11 goals in the English topflight this season, however, his tally for the season stands at 15 goals in 43 appearances in all competition.

He was instrumental to the Blues EPL triumph in Antonio Conte’s first season at the club – scoring 16 goals in 26 league games but has been a shadow of himself this season.
