Real Madrid superstar Sergio Ramos risks being slammed another match ban after being sighted encroaching the pitch in his side’s 3-1 defeat to Juventus on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and one from Marcelo ensured Los Blancos won the first leg by a three-goal margin in Turin.

But the Italian side pulled s surprise come back in the second leg of the championship – with Mario Mandzukic grabbing a brace and Blaise Matuidi scoring his side’s third in the game.

However, referee Michael Oliver handed the hosts a late penalty after a challenge on Lucas Vazquez by Benatia, which Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to convert to propel the European champions to the next stage of the tourney.

Ramos was suspended for Madrid’s slim triumph over Juve on Wednesday, and as the game ran towards a dramatic finale at the Bernabeu, the Spaniard abandoned his seats in the stand to get a pitchside view.

He was later spotted by the TV cameras gesticulating wildly at the mouth of the tunnel as his team-mates toiled having seen their 3-0 aggregate lead whittled away.

Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri was sighted objecting Ramos’ presence at the sidelines, telling him he should not have been there after Lucas Vazquez won a dramatic stoppage time penalty for the hosts.

UEFA rules state that if the officials spotted Ramos encroaching on the playing area while suspended then he could be given an extra match ban.

That would see him miss the first-leg of Real Madrid's semi-final, against one of Bayern Munich, Liverpool or Roma. The draw for the last four takes place on Friday morning.

Real Madrid are the defending champions of the title, and they are edging closer to winning their third straight UEFA elite championship.

They defeated Juventus 4-1 in the final of last season’s edition.
