Real Madrid superstar Isco has emerged as a summer transfer target for Premier League campaigners Manchester United who are ready to lure him to Old Trafford.
This season, Isco has impressed for Real Madrid most especially in the UEFA Champions League where they will face German side Bayern Munich in the semi final.
The 25-year-old Spanish international has netted seven goals and chipped in with eight assists in all competitions for Los Blancos this term.
And according to the latest report by Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has told the club's chiefs to sign Isco before the start of the 2018 World Cup.
Don Balon add that Mourinho is even willing to include goalkeeper David De Gea in a player-plus-cash deal for Isco.
The Spain goalkeeper is a long-term target for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Mourinho is hoping to cash in on the Real president’s interest.
Isco is seen as a perfect replacement for Frenchman Paul Pogba who could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.
But Manchester United will have to face serious competition for the signing of Isco from Manchester City and Chelsea who are also said to be interested in the Spaniard.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly told Real Madrid chiefs to bring Manchester United goalie David De Gea to the Bernabeu next season.
The Spanish goalkeeper has for years being a target for Los Blancos, and Ronaldo believes Real Madrid can sign the Spaniard at the end of the season.
According to the report by Don Balon, Ronaldo mentioned the name of David De Gea in a meeting with the club's chiefs as a player he wants to play with next season at the Bernabeu.
