Paul Pogba vows to remain at Manchester United next season

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has insisted that he will not be leaving Old Trafford this summer according to Daily Star.

The 25-year-old has been heavily criticized by the Red Devils’ manager Jose Mourinho all season long for his failure to live up to his billings.

Having failed to live up to expectations at the club, the Frenchman has started eight out of United’s last 13 encounters on the bench.

While his performance against West Bromwich Albion in their 1-0 defeat at home on Sunday put him at risk of not featuring in his side’s FA Cup semi final clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, April 21.

The France international was linked with a move to Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain earlier this season after ruining his relationship with his manager, Mourinho.

He is believed to have been spurred on by his match-winning performance against Manchester City, in which he scored twice in three minutes to secure a comeback win for his side.

Pogba return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016 after a four-year spell at his former club, Juventus and has scored 10 goals in 52 appearances for the club.

While at the Italian Serie A side, he scored 28 goals from 124 appearances for the Old Lady before returning to United.
