Former Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar has recalled how current Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho told him that he was better even with one arm than Iker Casillas.
Jose Mourinho fell out with Spain legend Iker Casillas during his three-year spell at Spanish champions Real Madrid.
And Cesar says the incident happened immediately after the 2013 Confederations Cup final between Brazil and Spain, when he lifted the trophy wearing his adversary's shirt.
The 38-year-old explained to Selecao Sportv that Mourinho sent him a text message after the match.
"When I got back to the dressing room, I saw a message from Mourinho on my mobile.
"It read: 'Are you crazy? It's Casillas who should be wearing your shirt and not you his.' And he told me that with just one arm, I would save more than Casillas.
"Iker came to the changing room to talk to me and I told him to be smart with Mourinho and that, it's difficult but you have to confront him.
"Mourinho like going face-to-face with the players considered stars at the club he is managing."
Julio Cesar's revelation maybe a good advise for Frenchman Paul Pogba who is also having issues with Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho.
Their relationship has gone sour this season and there are even reports that Manchester United are planning to sell the ex Juventus star this summer.
But Manchester United captain Michael Carrick has reportedly sat down with Paul Pogba and has told him to repair his relationship with Mourinho.
