Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reportedly told the club's chiefs to sign Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso at the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.
Since joining Chelsea last season, Marcos Alonso has been impressive for the Blues as he helped them win the Premier League title in his first year at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have struggled this season, but Alonso has been a stand-out performer with the Spain international being named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.
Real Madrid are expected to spend big this summer, and according to the report by Don Balon, defender Sergio Ramos has urged then to bring Alonso to the Bernabeu.
Ramos reckons the left-back is the ideal signing to give competition for places at Real Madrid.
But Los Blancos will now have face competition from their La Liga rivals Barcelona who are also interested in Alonso.
