Governor El-Rufai becomes a grandfather

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has become a grandfather as his son, Bello's wife, Kamilah gave birth to a baby girl on Friday, April 20.

NAIJ.com gathered that in a statement on his Facebook page, young El-Rufai, on Friday, April 20, announced that his wife, Kamilah, gave birth to a baby girl as he he said that the mother and the child were in good in condition.

He said: "Alhamdullilah. Tonight at 9:36, my wife, Kamilah El-Rufai gave birth to a baby girl. They are both in good health. Please pray for us. Indeed, this is the happiest day of my life."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Friday, December 1, announced his resolve to adopt the three children, of the late Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Professor Jonathan Andrew Nok.

The Kaduna state governor, speaking at a valedictory executive session held in honour of the late Professor said the state government will sponsor education of the three children of the late commissioner up to Phd level.
