A movement, ‘Rebuild Nigeria Initiative Forum’ has been launched in Lagos with its founders calling for support for the presidential ambition of a former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
Daily Trust reports that the national president of the initiative, Frank Sheteolu Gomez, on Tuesday, April 24, said at the official launch and inauguration of the group in Lagos, that Atiku was an experienced leader generally accepted by all the geo-political zones in the country.
NAIJ.com gathered that he said as a detribalised politician with a good understanding of the various cultures and traditions of all the ethnic groups that made up Nigeria, Atiku’s presidency would foster peace and hope for the common Nigerian.
Making his remarks at the launch, Alhaji Ajagbe Adejumo, a PDP stalwart in Lagos and representative of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku at the event, said the former vice president was a bridge builder and a man that had all it took to move Nigeria to the next level.
