President Buhari presides over FEC meeting in Abuja

- The Federal Executive Council meeting is ongoing at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja

- Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha and other cabinet members are in attendance

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The meeting commenced at 11am on Wednesday, April 25, at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Vanguard reports.

NAIJ.com notes that the meeting is being attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, amongst others.

Issues that are being discussed in the meeting are unknown as at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported the acting chairman of the EFCC Ibrahim Magu, managing director of the Nigeria Ports Authority, Hadiza Usman and her counterpart from the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dakuku Peterside, attended the first meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for the year 2018.

The first meeting of FEC for the year 2018 kicked off at the Presidential vVlla, Abuja with President Muhammadu Buhari presiding. Vice president Yemi Osinbajo and cabinet ministers were in attendance.

The meeting also had in attendance the secretary to the government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and head of service, Winifrey Oyo-Ita.
