A new dimension has emerged in the controversy concerning President Muhammadu Buhari’s comments about Nigerian youths in London, as a 'lazy Nigerian youths' Wikipedia page has now appeared.

At the Commonwealth Business Forum, President Muhammadu Buhari stated: “More than 60 percent of the population is below 30. Legit.ng notes that the comment did not go down well with many young Nigerians who translated the comment to mean that the president was referring to them as being lazy. The controversy then birthed the #LazyNigerianYouths trend on Twitter.

Wikipedia described the lazy Nigerian youths as “a social media revolt by Nigerian youths against their president, Muhammadu Buhari.”

“But the Nigerian youths will not have any of it as they soon took to social media to protest against the comment of the number one citizen of the country.”
